we have got the suite and it was a great room. The location is great, few minutes from thr city center but in the forest.

There is only a small elevator in thr hotel, but anyway it does not reach the floor where we lived, so we had to take the luggage with the stairs. Breakfast should have more variations.

The staff was exceptional

Couldn't get the internet in our room and have to go to the lobby to use it.

We used this hotel as a stop off point whilst travelling through Germany. Our choice of hotel was based on good reviews and ability to walk directly from the hotel. There are some beautiful walks instantly accessible from the hotel. .

Guests should be advised prior to booking that the restaurant is closed on Tuesday. Not great if you have travelled 6 hours in the car and just want to relax. The hotel management offered us therefore a choice of meat or fish from the BBQ as our only alternative. The local restaurant closed too! -Our food was finally ready to eat 1.5 hours after ordering it (and it was delicious) The price of the food was displayed on a blackboard. The final bill however priced it by weight - the weight we received - determined by the staff without any consultation.!Our 9 year old had a mountain of food he could not finish- our food bill soared accordingly! We felt we had been duped!. A neighbouring table in the hotel ordered in Pizza's from somewhere - it would have been nice to be offered an alternative eating option! Final verdict. Not the best value for money

Quiet; nice surrounding in the middle of the forest ; good restaurant; renovated room; close to panoramaweg which is a difficult path (up and downhills all the time).

- difficult access even with a GPS because of construction works on roads all over Baden-Baden and lack of good signs; - no balcony in deluxe room contrary to what was explicitly mentioned in the reservation; - tiny bathroom in deluxe room - no view (just a roof below the window) - strong smell of formaldehyde in room stemming from brand new pieces of furniture in particle board; - average breakfast

The hotel was in excellent location. In the mountains, forest, nice trails, yet just a short taxi ride away from center of Baden-Baden. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the selection of TV channels was fantastic with channels from all over the globe. The restaurant was very nice with beautiful, wooden, traditional accents. The service was very good, people were very pleasant, always smiling and greeting the guests.

The breakfast was very disappointing for a 4* hotel and given how nice the hotel was. No choice of cheese except for basic, basic cold cut meats, no simple vegetables, only boiled eggs. Sadly, we would probably select another hotel next time, due to this one factor.
